This Privacy Policy describes how vFashion ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services. By using vFashion, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Data: When you register or complete your profile, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, and date of birth. This information is used to identify you and personalize your experience.

Authentication Data: We store session tokens and user identifiers securely on your device using encrypted storage (flutter_secure_storage). These are used to keep you logged in securely.

Media Interaction Data: To provide secure access to course materials, we process requests for signed URLs to view private PDFs and videos. We log access requests to prevent unauthorized sharing.

Device Information (FCM Tokens): We collect Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to send you push notifications regarding subscription approvals, session management alerts, and important account updates.

Usage Data: We may automatically collect information on how the service is accessed and used. This usage data may include your device's IP address, browser type, and pages visited within our app.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate your identity and maintain your login session securely.
  • To manage your course subscriptions, enrollments, and pending approval requests.
  • To deliver educational content (Videos and PDFs) through secure, time-limited signed URLs that prevent unauthorized downloading or redistribution.
  • To notify you of important updates, such as subscription approvals or alerts when your account is accessed from another device (Single Device Policy).
  • To improve our services, app features, and user experience.
  • To communicate with you regarding updates to our policies and terms of service.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your session data and authentication tokens are stored locally on your device using flutter_secure_storage, which provides AES encryption to prevent unauthorized access.

We use industry-standard HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and our servers. Our API and data processing infrastructure is hosted on Vercel, which provides enterprise-grade security measures.

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our application:

  • Firebase (Google): Used for push notifications (FCM), core app functionality, and performance monitoring. Firebase's privacy policy is available at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
  • Vercel: Our API and backend infrastructure are hosted on Vercel. Vercel's privacy policy is available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • YouTube (Google): Our website embeds YouTube videos for educational content. YouTube's privacy policy applies to any interactions with embedded content.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for commercial purposes.

5. Your Rights

  • Access & Update: You may view or update your personal information at any time within the "My Profile" section of the app.
  • Data Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data by contacting us at vfashionnbusiness@gmail.com.
  • Opt-out of Notifications: You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
  • Data Portability: Upon request, we will provide you with a copy of your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format.

6. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take necessary action.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
